For hundreds of years Wabanaki artists traveled to high-traffic tourist destinations in present-day Maine to sell their artwork and serves as guides for seasonal visitors. Wabanaki artists still attend several in-person markets throughout the year where visitors can purchase their art and participate in artist-led demonstrations. See the list of annual events below to find out where you can meet exceptional artists from each of the Wabanaki communities and purchase intricate works of art made by this continent's oldest inhabitants.
